Tien has been with The Renaissance Group since its inception, and manages the firm’s professional group of clients. She is involved with all aspects of her clients’ business, from incorporation to everyday tax and business solutions.

Prior to joining The Renaissance Group she articled at a mid-size firm downtown and received her CA designation in 2006.  She has completed the CICA In-depth tax courses.

Tien believes in the Renaissance vision of fostering a learning environment for the articling staff and takes time to assist them with their professional development as they form the key to any successful business.

Tien is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Outside of the office, Tien can be found in the kitchen experimenting with a new cookie recipe, training for a half marathon, hiking a local mountain, or scuba-diving in the tropics.
